As a technology-led business development professional you will understand business trends impacting the industry and you will be passionate and capable of driving market development across the sector. You will address changing industry needs including facilitating organisational change through digital technology to enhance collaborative working and enabling customers to serve patients in a modern way. This role will be focused within the healthcare sector and you’ll be responsible for building an opportunity pipeline and winning customers.

The role:

  • Lead Generation - Identify business leads and emerging opportunities through market research and analysis where necessary
  • Contact senior and C-Suite decision makers to generate leads and opportunities in the healthcare vertical
  • Deliver targeted and strategic outreach by phone, LinkedIn, Email and referral introductions
  • Professionally articulate the VTSL solutions and be comfortable delivering phone-based presentations
  • Build business development pipeline by engaging with key prospects and partners
  • Support the execution on the sales and market development plan, in partnership with key internal stakeholders
  • Support pitches where relevant / appropriate, including creating supporting materials


  • 2-3 years exposure in a similar sales role, selling a related tech solution
  • Track record of high achievement in a target driven sales environment
  • Proven ability to understand a client's business challenges and consult on solutions that add value
  • Comfortable prospecting C-level and senior decision makers within businesses globally
  • Proven experience building new relationships, offering value add insight, guidance and reassurance
  • Commercially astute, staying ahead of market trends, product knowledge and perceived competitors
  • Enthusiastic, energetic and passionate about high performance and personal success
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • High level of attention to detail and pride in your work
  • A flexible approach, with the ability to work well on your own as well as part of a team
