The beauty of VTSL's Analytics application allows you to see something as simple as the calls made that day by a particular individual or as sophisticated as a multi-variable missed call report across the entire organisation.  Either way, you can access the data, change time frames, and add filters, quickly and easily.

How do I access it?

Analytics is an application in the VTSL Portal, accessed using your email address and password. 

How does it work?

Simply choose from a drop down menu of preset or saved reports that you (or a colleague) have created. Then click 'Run Report'.  You will see the 'Views' and 'Filters' applied to that report, as well as the report itself which is displayed in both graphical and chart format at the bottom.

What are 'Views' and 'Filters'?

A 'View' is how you want to see your data.  This is usually by extension if you are looking at performance, or by a unit of time (hour, day, etc) if you are looking for the busiest / slowest periods.  You can have more than one View, and they are applied in the order added.  You can change their order however.  Filters provide you with a way of refining the data to show you only the information you are looking for.  You can add filters for time periods, direction of call, whether the call was answered, and more.

Can I change the 'Views' and 'Filters' on preset and saved reports if I want to see something slightly different?

Yes, absolutely. 

Can everyone see this call data in my organisation?

Everyone with permission to use the application can access it in their VTSL portal. Permission is given when you order the application from VTSL. 

What happens if I create a report with illogical Views and Filters?

Data can only be displayed if what you are asking for makes sense.  For example if you are trying to see data by auto-attendants but don't have any, then obviously you won't have data.  

Am I able to download reports?

You can easily download a report as a pdf simply by pressing 'Download'.

How would I schedule a report to be emailed to me each Monday?

Go to the scheduling application in the VTSL portal, and follow the easy 3-step process.
